Most people believe that Antiques & Art make very good long term financial investments. Considering that the total global market is worth approximately £13.5 Billion per year it is surprising perhaps to learn that there has only been a relative small number of professional studies done (or at least published) which determine the return on investment ( ROI ) for antiques and collectibles.
The proprietor of Timewarp Golf, Mr.Gavin Bottrell, has carried out his own research into the ROI of the golf collectible market. His award winning academic study proved that the value of golf collectibles in general have risen significantly in real terms over the past twenty five years and certain types of golf collectibles have achieved ROI rates far in excess of that given by long term saving accounts, bonds and the major stock markets.

What does this mean? Essentially, this study shows that collectors, investors and occasional buyers can purchase antique golf collectibles with a high degree of confidence that they are making a good long term financial investment. The added bonus is that they can draw enjoyment in tangible ways from antique golf collectibles.
